PRICE LIST

It’s a special moment when a team reaches a Cup Final, no matter what level and one of the first ideas that comes to mind is to have the event captured on video.

That can usually mean getting a non-playing member or parent of a player at the club to use a mobile phone camera while holding a beer in the other hand! Of course, filming a football match is not that easy, especially when you have had a 'few beers' beforehand and subsequently have the urge to celebrate and jump around with the rest of your teammates in the crowd when you score a winning goal in the last minute!

Needless to say, when the winning team then get together to watch the video of the game, all they can see is the sky, the backs of peoples head in the crowd or close-up shots of a few blades of grass with no sign of any goals being captured on film.

That’s where we come in to solve all those problems by offering a cheap but professional service to cover the following scenarios for you:
    •    You are playing in a Cup Final, possibly your first one?
    •    You want to see yourselves professionally filmed to show friends and family and featured on YouTube all around the world.
    •    You might be playing in a top-of-the-table match, a Title decider, or against a team from a higher level and you want the game filmed professionally because it is a momentous occasion for your club.
    •    Your club is playing their last-ever game or maybe a one-off game in a stadium for a fund-raising charity venture.
Prices for filming a Cup Final are more expensive if the filming is booked by just one of the participating teams, so to avoid both teams booking separate video companies, we encourage them to contact each other and agree to share the filming fee which therefore works out cheaper for the team involved.

    •    FILMING OF THE WHOLE MATCH (including Extra-Time & Penalties if necessary)
    •    FILMING OF POST-MATCH PRESENTATIONS OF CUPS & MEDALS (For Cup Finals)
    •    SLOW-MOTION REPLAYS OF GOALS & MAJOR INCIDENTS
    •    TITLES & CAPTIONS including BOTH TEAMS LINE-UPS & FORMATIONS, GOALSCORERS NAMES, SUBSTITUTIONS etc.
    •    STEADY CAMERAWORK WITH GOOD CLOSE-UPS AND EXCELLENT SOUND & HD PICTURE QUALITY
    •    COLOUR INSERTS FOR EACH COPY OF THE DVD INCLUDING STILL-FRAME PICTURES TAKEN FROM THE ACTUAL MATCH FOOTAGE
    •    WE CAN FILM MATCHES ON ANY DAY OF THE WEEK

We make every effort to transfer the effort and ideas of the football coverage you see on TV to our own coverage of amateur and semi-professional football matches.

We film all matches as a complete neutral and show no favouritism towards any one side. This is because the team who have not booked us may decide after the match that they would like to share the filming fee and order copies.

Finding a good vantage point to film a Cup Final from can often be difficult because some venues are no more than a roped-off pitch with no main stand or flat clubhouse roof alongside the touchline. If we have to film at ground level, invariably the Referee will tell our cameraman to move his tripod back a long way from the touchline so that players do not run into it, and that will mean that spectators will obscure our view of the pitch and goals could be missed. As none of our freelance cameramen are able to bring their own scaffolding, we therefore may have to rely on the team(s) who are booking us to provide a suitable raised platform that can be erected near the touchline so that we are able to film over spectators’ heads.
The ideal size of the platform needs to be at least 4 ft. x 4 ft. square for our cameraman and his tripod and other equipment to fit on comfortably.

INFORMATION WE REQUIRE WHEN YOU BOOK US TO FILM YOUR MATCH

    •    WHICH OPTION YOU REQUIRE FROM OUR PRICE LIST

    •    YOUR NAME, POSITION WITH THE CLUB (e.g. Secretary, Manager, etc.), ADDRESS (for invoicing & delivery), MOBILE PHONE NUMBER & E-MAIL ADDRESS

    •    YOUR TEAM'S NAME

    •    THE OPPOSING TEAM'S NAME

    •    THE NAME OF THE LEAGUE (including sponsors) & DIVISION or CUP COMPETITION & WHICH ROUND

    •    THE VENUE FOR THE MATCH (including address & postcode)

    •    THE DATE OF THE MATCH

    •    TIME OF KICK-OFF

    •    Whether you have contacted your opponents to find out if they are interested in booking us as well (and sharing the cost).

    •    Please note that for the match to be filmed professionally by one of our cameramen, you MUST obtain permission in advance from the League/Cup Final organisers.

Once we have all the above information, we then check on the availability of a cameraman and once that is confirmed, we will then send you a Confirmation of Booking letter by e-mail which will give you all the necessary details. This is normally done on the Monday before the match if it is a Sunday fixture or 7 days before the match for other days of the week.

The Confirmation of Booking letter will also give you instructions on whether you can pay the cameraman on the day or whether you will need to pay in advance. This is because some of our cameramen are freelance operators who we prefer to pay ourselves once they have given us the camera master footage from the actual match.

INFORMATION WE REQUIRE ON THE DAY OF THE MATCH

Your cameraman for the match will normally arrive at the venue an hour before the kick-off.  On doing so, they may find that the person who has booked us to film the match is busy doing a team-talk or getting changed. In that case, the cameraman will quite often go straight into the stands or onto the side of the pitch to look for the best vantage point from which to film the match from, so it is best to approach him when you come out onto the pitch if he has not introduced himself to you first.
To enable us to produce a DVD and/or YouTube highlights of the quality that we advertise, it is essential that on the day of the match our cameraman is supplied with an official match programme/teamsheet (if there is one) and given the following information regarding your team:

    •    FULL NAMES OF ALL PLAYERS and CORRECT SHIRT NUMBERS WORN ON THE DAY.

    •    YOUR TEAM’S STARTING FORMATION (e.g. 4-4-2, 4-3-3, etc.) AND WHO PLAYED WHERE.

    •    YOUR TEAM’S (& YOUR OPPONENTS’) COLOURS PLAYED IN ON THE DAY.

    •    CAPTAIN’S NAME

    •    Confirmation of GOALSCORERS (in order of who scored)

    •    SUBSTITUTIONS MADE (who came on for who and at roughly what time in the match)

    •    BOOKINGS or SENDING-OFFS (if any)

    •    TEAM MANAGER & ASSISTANTS’ NAMES

    •    REFEREE & ASSISTANT REFEREE'S NAMES

At most of the Cup Finals we film for clubs at Sunday League & parks level, we find that the Team Manager is normally (and understandably) too busy to write out all the above details for us on the day, so we strongly advise clubs to appoint another club member as being responsible for providing this information for our cameraman. It is always best if a club can find somebody to write things down as the match goes on, especially for details such as the correct shirt numbers for players, substitutions made and the goalscoring order, as these can all be easily forgotten after a match and it is extremely difficult for us to guess which player is which if we do not have the correct shirt numbers available when we are editing the footage.
